Detailing Service Manager

• Be a team player.  Many days the Detailing Service Manager will work with other departments at GK’s.
• Having a willingness to learn, be taught, and accept instruction and criticism.
• Having and maintaining a valid driver’s license.
• Being physically able to do manual labor (as needed).
• Having a familiarity with Microsoft: Word, Outlook and QuickBooks is helpful.  Training will be provided if not.

• This is a year-round, full-time position.
• These tasks are not difficult but need to be completed at a very high level of quality.  GK’s reputation has been built on the quality of work performed for customers.  There are no excuses for poor or unsatisfactory workmanship.  Employees need to be responsible, reliable and attentive to a high level of work quality.
• The Detailing Manager will be responsible for keeping the Detailing Staff on track and time efficient.  This includes both onsite detailers and offsite boat detailers.
• Responsible for inspecting all the detailed items for the day and addressing any corrections with the employee that detailed that item.
• GK’s owns and operates storage facilities which are maintained year-round.  During the months of: April, May, June, October and November – GK’s Custom Polishing, Inc.’s storage facilities are the busiest.  Many items that are released from storage need to be prepared and inspected.  These storage facilities allow year round work for all GK’s employees.
• GK’s employs a full-time storage / transport manager.  At times, the Detailing Service Manager will need to assist in storage.
• The Detailing Manager will be in charge of surveying each item (auto, boat, jet ski, motorcycle and RV) that comes through the detailing facility for additional services that could be performed.  For example: paint touch-up, leather cleaning/conditioning, engine degreasing/dressing, dent removal, rim repair, etc.

GK’s Custom Polishing, Inc. will provide the Operations Manager of the Hard Surface Division with 10 workdays’ worth of paid vacation (and/or) sick time during their 1^st year at the company.  GK’s Custom Polishing, Inc. will provide employee with the following number of paid vacation (and/or) sick time after 1 year:

• 2^nd year – 11 days
• 3^rd year – 12 days
• 4^th year – 13 days
• 5^th year – 14 days
• 6^th year and after – 15 days

• This is a full time, year-round supervisor position. 
• 6:45am – 5:00pm: Monday – Friday
• Hours per week: 46 – 52
• Some half day Saturdays for about 3-4 months.
